As promised here is a weekly update to the progress of the development of the Variety Pet Supplies website. We are continuing work on the dog section of the site. All of our products in the dog leash and tie out section are currently being updated.
We have also been doing some behind the scenes updates to the company as a whole to help us better track our information.

Updated Dog Training Section
Hello everyone! We here at Variety Pet Supplies hope that you and yours had a very safe and happy holiday!
The reason for this latest post is to inform everyone that we have updated our dog training section.
The main dog training page has now been broken into sub-section pages for easier navigation through the entire dog training section. We intend to use this format for all of the other sections as we update the site.
The dog training section is now broken into Dog Barriers and Gates, Dog Housebreaking Aids, Dog Repellent and Deterrents, Dog Training Videos and Dog Whistles. Each section carries various products. We have updated the images and descritptions for many of these dog training products.
We encourage you to browse our selection in these updated sections. Please remember to check back for information about our site and it's updates.

Variety Pet Supplies History and Future
Hello everyone! My name is Keith. Myself and my wife are the owners of Variety Pet Supplies which is the focus of this blog that you are currently reading. I wanted to write an entry to tell everyone a little bit about our company, ourselves and our website. I believe that knowing who you are doing business with is very important, especially in today's society.
Let me tell you a little bit about our company and ourselves. My wife and I are partner owners of a company called KL Kelly E-Stores. Our company is located in the Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania area. Variety Pet Supplies is our first and currently only website venture. This website has been a work in progress for a couple years.
Since we had not had any website building experience in the past we have been teaching ourselves and trying to find the most efficient ways to create the site. All of our research and work has been completed in our spare time, which unfortunately made the process longer then we would have liked. Once we have the process worked out we would like to expand and launch additional websites.
Variety Pet Supplies originally launched in January 2007. It was a good first attempt, but the work involved to maintain and update the site was too much. Since then we have evolved the site into what it is today. We have tried many different tools to build and update the site. We are currently using Yahoo! and beleive that they provide the tools we need to better maintain our site. This means that we will be pouring our time into expaning our site with additional products and content. Currently we intend to keep the look of the site basically the same until we have completed our content updates.
We intend to post our updates to the site on this blog on at least a weekly sometimes daily basis. Even though we are working this site in our spare time we will do our best to maintain that schedule.
